We aim to improve access to high-quality veterinary care for pets and their families and provide flexible, appointment-based care within Vetco Clinics and Vetco Vaccination Clinics located inside Petco locations.

• Provide veterinary care as a relief veterinarian within Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care Hospitals, including preventive care, diagnostics, and procedures as appropriate for the shift.
• Operate within the appointment-based model to manage caseloads and patient flow.
• Collaborate with the area medical director to review case comfort levels before shifts when applicable.
• Collaborate with trained staff to manage operations, records, and patient experience.
• Adhere to clinic policies and ensure high-quality patient care and safety.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing (state-specific licensing for the shift functions, including blood draws and vaccines).
• DEA registration in good standing preferred for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts.
• Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy.
• Compliance with all local, state, and federal mandates.
