We are looking for a dynamic and experienced full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our customer service team. The ideal candidate will have great customer service skills, be professional, upbeat, friendly and comfortable using a computer. Previous veterinary experience preferred. Plaza Del Amo Animal Hospital is a five doctor general practice, primarily seeing dogs and cats. We also provide a full service grooming department, day and long term boarding with luxury suites.

• Have great people and customer service skills
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented person and compassionate
• Veterinary Reception experience 1-2 years required
• Must be willing to work some weekends and flexible shifts
• Must be 18 years old or older

• Warmly greet clients in-person and over the phone, addressing inquiries related to veterinary care, boarding, and grooming services.
• Schedule appointments for veterinary visits, boarding reservations, and grooming appointments.
• Provide clients with information on pricing, service details, and availability.
• Provide updates to pet owners about their animals' well-being as requested.
• Handle inquiries and address concerns from pet owners professionally and courteously
• Detail oriented and multi-tasking abilities
• Great work ethic and team player
• Handle incoming and outgoing email
• Process payments for visits, medications, food, grooming and boarding
• Go over wellness plans and provide billing estimates to clients
• Check in clients dropping off patients for daily procedures
• Process daily check-in paperwork for patient procedures
• Able to work weekends, morning or afternoon shifts. 8 hour shifts generally.
• Ensure a welcoming and organized reception area
• Provide excellent customer service and help maintain a positive client experience
• Able to lift 35lbs

We are open Mon
- Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday 8am-4pm. The starting wage for this position is $17.89/hr, $20.00/hr compensation is negotiable & based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
