Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Flexibility to work weekends and float between units is required.

Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care.
- Perform patient assessments.
- Administer medications.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Gather and report patient data.
- Carry out physician orders.
- Perform therapeutic procedures.
- Document patient care and related duties.

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license.
- ACLS, BCLS, FHM, NRP certifications.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.

Preferred Skills &

Certifications:

- Precepting skills.
- AWHONN Advanced certification.

Special Considerations:

- Must be flexible working weekends.
- May be required to float to other facilities.
- Facility is able to call off once per two week pay period.

Scheduling:
- PM shift need.
- Weekend work depends on contract length.
- Block scheduling per manager discretion.
