Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. The role requires flexibility to work weekends and float between units, with a preference for candidates with precepting skills.

Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care.
- Perform patient assessments.
- Administer medications.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members.
- Float between like units, including mother baby.
- Support the PM shift.

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- ACLS certification.
- AWHONN Advanced certification.
- BCLS certification.
- NRP certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Clinical Assessment, Medication Administration, and Treatment Planning skills
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work

Preferred Skills &

Certifications:

- Precepting skills.

Special Considerations:

- May be required to float to another medical center.
- Weekend work is required, depending on the length of the contract.
- The facility can call off once per two-week pay period.

Scheduling:
- PM shift.
- Must be flexible working weekends.
- Block scheduling is per manager discretion.
- RTO must be included at the time of submission.
