RN - Emergency Nights

Overview:
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses to join a high-performing Emergency Department team for full-time night shift roles. This position offers a fast-paced environment where clinicians collaborate to deliver exceptional care to patients in critical situations.

Position Summary:
The Emergency Department RN provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. The RN in this role must be able to work independently, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and thrive in a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver emergency care to patients of all ages with a wide range of medical conditions

Accurately assess, monitor, and document patient condition and response to treatments

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and protocols

Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure continuity of care

Adhere to all regulatory and clinical policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Active California Registered Nurse License

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)

At least 1 year of recent experience as a registered nurse in an acute care hospital setting

At least 1 year of recent experience specifically in an Emergency Department
