Nursing Supervisor RN - Peri-Anesthesia and Peri-Operative

Overview

Description RN Nursing Supervisor for our Peri-Anesthesia and Peri-Operative departments at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour shifts. Shift start times will typically be in the afternoon to support the Evening shifts.

• Coordinate appropriate patient assignments in the following age groups: infants up to 1 month of age, and adults 18 years and older.
• Coordinate lab results to all physicians.
• Review required documentation and facilitate interaction between field staff, office staff, home care patients, and their physicians.

Required qualifications:

• California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 1 year of Nursing experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• 5 years of RN Acute Care Nursing Experience.
• 3 years of RN Peri-Anesthesia / Peri-Operative experience
• ACLS and PALS through AHA

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
