Torrance, California. Base Salary: $152,000 – $239,000.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Nurse Manager – Operating Room to provide clinical and administrative leadership for perioperative services in a leading medical center located in Torrance, California. The Nurse Manager will oversee the total operations and clinical team members of the Operating Room, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and efficient departmental performance. Responsibilities- Provide leadership, direction, and administrative oversight for the Operating Room department on a 24-hour basis.
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care aligned with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and team performance to maintain optimal workflow and efficiency.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and professional growth among staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with best practices and accreditation standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license upon hire.
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Minimum 5 years of direct clinical experience in an Operating Room within a hospital.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience (Charge RN, Supervisor, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Manager).
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Base Salary: $152,000 – $239,000 annually (based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity).
