The Calibration Technician is responsible for executing routine calibration activities and maintaining accurate equipment records to support reliable manufacturing and test operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring tools are safe, traceable, and ready for use.
Responsibilities- Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and quality standards
- Register equipment and materials in the System (e.g., Net Suite and Google Sheet), ensuring accurate part IDs, serial numbers, location, status, and custody records.
- Perform basic calibration of tools and equipment per approved procedures, documenting results and applying calibration status labels.
- Perform periodic physical audits of tools/equipment and reconcile discrepancies in the equipment log (missing, damaged, removed etc.).
- Accurately complete calibration worksheet and quality documentation.
- Complete assigned work orders within the Net Suite time estimates.
- Responsible for following the company safety & ESD regulation at all times.
- Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guidelines.
- Performs other duties and/or specific projects as assigned by the direct manager or team leader.
- Associate’s degree in a technical field, or HS Diploma, previous calibration or RF test experience a plus.
- High degree of dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to use hand tools and work with delicate products and parts.
- Independently lift to 60 lbs. and safely carry test equipment.
- Requires extended periods of standing, stretching, reaching, etc.
- Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite. Google Workplace is a plus.
- Basic knowledge is required in both written and spoken English.
