Overview
This position supports day-to-day production activities, including assembly, testing, inventory support, and shipment of hardware systems. We are seeking a candidate with hands-on manufacturing or technical assembly experience who can work with moderate independence in a production or lab environment.
What You Will Do- Assemble mechanical, electronic, and optical subassemblies and systems by following drawings, BOMs, and work instructions
- Perform inspections and basic troubleshooting of nonconforming assemblies and escalate issues as needed
- Support testing activities and document results in accordance with build requirements
- Manage parts for builds, including pulling materials, tracking usage, and maintaining inventory accuracy
- Prepare systems for shipment, ensuring proper handling and documentation
- Support prototype builds and provide feedback to improve build processes and work instructions
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation
- Experience assembling mechanical and or electronic systems
- Familiarity with basic tools and shop equipment such as hand tools, torque drivers, calipers, or soldering irons
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to read basic drawings and follow work instructions
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a cross functional team
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: One to three years of hands on experience in manufacturing, assembly, prototyping, or a technical environment
Preferred But Not Required- Experience using inventory tracking systems or ERP platforms
- Familiarity with ESD practices or QA inspections
- Exposure to quality assurance standards or inspection processes
- Hands on machining experience such as operating a lathe or mill for minor part modifications or prototype support
- Additional education or training in a technical or trade related field
- Onsite, full time position
- Manufacturing and lab environment
- Hourly pay range: $22.35 to $30.25 per hour
