We re searching for a detail-oriented and motivated Buyer I to support our Sourcing team and help keep production running smoothly. If you enjoy supplier coordination, problem-solving, and fast-paced environments this role is for you!

• Initiate purchase orders for materials/supplies based on approved requisitions and ERP data
• Set up new vendors/products and maintain ERP purchasing data
• Place orders, track deliveries, and expedite shipments when needed
• Issue RFQs and analyze quotations for management review
• Reconcile inventory, invoices, and resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate vendor shipments to meet monthly production deadlines
• Ensure purchasing compliance with ISO standards, policies, and ethical practices
• Support other buyers and assist with additional projects as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor s Degree OR 13 years in supply chain
• Strong analytical skills and advanced math ability
• Professional communication and phone etiquette
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and general typing skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to make sound decisions
• Eligible to receive ITAR and CUI-controlled information

• Experience with ERP systems
• Contract negotiation familiarity

• Must be flexible with overtime, including evenings/weekends as needed
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Must work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of staff
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
