Production Operator - 2nd Shift

Available Positions:

• 2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00 pm ($18.75 - $20.75 per hour).

Primary responsibilities are overseeing and assisting in the operation of the Coating Lines. Responsible for following GMPs and training staff accordingly. Assist the supervisor in a variety of activities such as coordinating workflow, training new hires, and other given assignments.

• Able to disassemble, clean, and set-up encapsulation machines as well as other production equipment. Clean, floors, and walls and sanitize room per established procedures.
• Review batch records for accuracy and completeness, correctly documenting all steps in the process.
• Observe the machine during operation, adjust as needed, and inspect for wear and tear.
• Coordinate with supervisor to increase productivity and quality of product.
• Handling of raw materials and components used during the production process.
• Maintain proper attire and PPE at all times to ensure integrity of the product as per cGMPs and Paragon Laboratories SOPs.
• Follow instruction on Batch records to manufacture products within company and customer specifications.
• Report any issues in the production process to the Production Supervisor.
• Duties and tasks may be added or changed at any time.
• Takes samples of product and perform in process testing as per batch record instructions.

• Minimum 0 to 1 years of experience in manufacturing Dietary Supplements or Pharmaceuticals preferred.
• Understanding and knowledge of various manufacturing operations and cGMP is required.
• Possesses good communication skills and should be able to provide job-related training to new production personnel.

• Requires standing/walking 75 % - 100 % of the day, roughly 6 to 8 hours.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Sitting stationary roughly 0 %– 10% of the day, up to 1 hour, with a focus on computer tasks.
• Some slight bending/maneuvering 30% of the day.
