The purpose of the Automated Anodize Line Production Technician is to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of a fully automated anodizing line, producing high-quality components while adhering to strict safety, environmental and quality standards.
The RoleAs an Automated Anodize Line Production Technician, you will operate, monitor, and maintain the robotic anodizing line to ensure continuous and consistent production flow. You will rack and prepare parts, adjust machine settings, perform routine maintenance, and work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to optimize processes, maintain high-quality output, and uphold a safe and compliant work environment.
Production Operation & Monitoring- Operate automated robotic anodize line equipment to maintain steady and efficient production flow.
- Track process parameters, system alerts, and equipment conditions to ensure proper operation and consistent quality.
- Rack, stage, and handle parts accurately to achieve proper anodizing results.
- Adjust machine settings and control interfaces based on production requirements.
- Maintain organized, clean, and properly staged work areas around the anodizing line.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Identify issues and assist maintenance or engineering teams with advanced repairs and system improvements.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to optimize throughput, reliability, and quality.
- Inspect anodized components to verify compliance with company, customer, and industry standards.
- Document production data, inspection results, and process adjustments accurately.
- Report quality deviations and support corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) protocols and safe work practices.
- Ensure proper chemical handling and adherence to anodizing and wastewater regulatory requirements.
- Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of anodizing, surface finishing, or related manufacturing experience.
- Ability to operate and adjust automated or semi-automated production equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Experience working with robotic automation or fully automated production lines.
- 2+ years of anodizing, chemical processing, metal finishing, or similar industrial operations.
- Hands-on production role with exposure to chemicals, humidity, water, varying temperatures, and ventilation systems.
- Requires extended standing, repetitive motion, and regular lifting.
- Work in proximity to automated and chemical processing equipment.
At Divergent, our pay range is based on the level of the job. For this role, we will consider candidates at levels T02 - T03 as evaluated through our interview process.
Pay Range
$23 - $35 USD
