A highly respected, full-service public accounting firm in Torrance, CA is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to oversee complex engagements, lead tax teams and serve as a trusted advisor to middle-market clients. This onsite role partners closely with multiple Tax Partners, reviews sophisticated tax work, manages workflow across engagements and develops talent while delivering exceptional service. Salary Range: $200,000 - $290,000 / Year DOE

• Lead and oversee multiple tax engagements for privately held middle-market clients
• Review tax returns prepared by staff and senior staff for accuracy and compliance
• Manage tax department workflow and ensure deadlines are consistently met
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a primary advisor
• Provide strategic, value-added tax solutions
• Stay current on tax law, regulatory and economic changes
• Collaborate closely with multiple Tax Partners across engagements
• Mentor, coach and develop tax staff and managers
• Provide feedback and performance evaluations
• Ensure ethical standards and firm policies are upheld
• Deliver high-quality work on time and within budget

• CPA required
• Minimum 6–7 years of public accounting experience
• Proven experience managing and mentoring teams
• Strong background in tax within a public accounting firm
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities simultaneously
• Strong communication and client-facing presence
