Bilingual Japanese​/English LA Branch Manager; Int'l ; CA​/YM

An international trading company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English LA Branch Manager to join their team in Torrance, CA. This position is responsible for overseeing all daily operations, staff, and financial performance of a business branch to ensure profitability and compliance. A bachelor's degree, 5+ years managerial experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), the ability to travel domestically, and the ability to speak, read, and write Japanese are required.

It is a full‑time, in‑person, exempt position with excellent benefits and a 401(k).

• Manage the branch, overseeing employees and maintaining a positive work environment.
• Prospect and solicit new business while maintaining current clients.
• Travel domestically to attend trade shows.
• Build and maintain relationships with VIP executives.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including inventory control, logistics, distribution, and administration.
• Develop and execute strategies to drive sales, increase market share, and meet or exceed branch revenue targets.
• Communicate with Headquarters.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards.
• Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.

• Must have a bachelor's degree.
• Must speak, read, and write Japanese.
• Must be able to travel domestically.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must have 5+ years managerial experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
