Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time Case Manager role located in Torrance, CA. The Case Manager will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of legal cases, managing client communications, gathering and organizing critical case documentation, and coordinating with attorneys and other legal professionals. The role will also involve scheduling appointments, case tracking, and ensuring that all deadlines are met efficiently.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Contact clients and maintain regular communication to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Conduct thorough investigations by gathering and analyzing intake information and relevant documents for each case.
  • Enter and manage accurate data in our database, including medical records and bills, and maintain updated information on all parties involved, including the adjusters and attorneys.
  • Verify insurance coverage and address liability issues, maintain communication with insurance adjusters, and assist with resolving property damage claims.
  • Manage clients’ medical care by coordinating with medical providers and clients, scheduling appointments, and thoroughly explaining procedures and documentation.
  • Continuously monitor case status and conduct weekly reviews of the case.
  • Organize and maintain comprehensive case files, preparing them for demand.
  • Collaborate with team members and attorneys to ensure efficient case preparation and resolution.
  • Other duties assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a personal injury law firm setting.
  • Proven track record of managing cases from pre-litigation to demand generation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment demonstrating agility and quick decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills and outstanding follow-through capabilities to consistently meet multiple deadlines and exceed expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology is a huge plus.
