Summary
Under the direction of the Vice President, the Customer Service Representative services a book of commercial lines business. The role works with Account Managers, Account Representatives, Account Executives, and Client Executives to handle all inside service work associated with the client’s program, including endorsement activity, routine coverage questions, problem solving, renewal control, preparation of formal proposals, and policy booking.
- Intake, issuance, and distribution of all certificates of insurance.
- Process all policy change requests, including endorsements, invoicing additional premiums, drafting check requests, and mailing documents.
- Prepare annual and interim insurance policy audits, insurance applications, client policy renewals, and renewal proposals.
- Assist with broker‑of‑record letters, new account set‑up, competitive bids, and account billing of premiums.
- Maintain records of all activities in AMS 360 and Image Right.
- Participate in seminars and educational classes for skill and knowledge development.
- Deliver high‑quality work with professional demeanor and technical accuracy.
- Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED and minimum two years of related experience.
- Active P&C insurance license within 3 months of hire.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and work independently to make accurate decisions.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and time/project management skills.
- Maintain positive working relationships and clear communication with co‑workers, vendors, and insurance carriers.
Salary: $25 – $29.80 per hour
