Solution Architect AWS, Data Lake & Data Mesh Architecture-67240
Pay Rate: $55 - $60/hr
We have an immediate need for a Solution Architect based in Torrance. This role follows an onsite or hybrid work model and will involve close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders through phone or Skype interviews and ongoing project delivery.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across AWS cloud and on-premise environments. You will gather and analyze business and technical requirements, translate them into end-to-end architectural designs, and lead the implementation of enterprise data platforms. A key focus of this role is architecting and delivering Data Lake and Data Mesh solutions, driving system integrations across applications and data sources, and ensuring governance, data quality, and compliance.
You will provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, create architecture roadmaps and design artifacts, and recommend modernization strategies for existing infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, EMR, API Gateway, IAM, and VPC, along with proven expertise in designing and implementing Data Lake and Data Mesh architectures. Solid experience with system integrations using APIs and ETL/ELT tools, hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments, and data governance and security best practices is essential.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills are critical for success in this role.
