Dynamics 365 Business Central – Manufacturing & Operations Lead (Functional)

We are looking for a hands‑on Business Central professional to act as the operational right hand to our senior ERP lead. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how work actually happens on the shop floor and in the office, then shaping Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central into a system people genuinely want to use.

You’ll work closely with manufacturing, warehouse, and operations teams—documenting reality, improving workflows, and translating business needs into practical Business Central solutions. Your success will be measured by clarity, efficiency, accuracy, and user adoption.

• Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse, and back‑office teams to map current and future‑state processes
• Translate operational challenges into clear functional requirements for Business Central
• Support the design, testing, and rollout of system and process improvements
• Create and maintain SOPs, process maps, user guides, and training materials
• Deliver hands‑on user training across multiple sites
• Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reports using Business Central, Power BI, and Jet Reports
• Provide functional support and coordinate with technical resources as needed
• Act as a liaison between business users and IT to ensure alignment and usability

• 2–5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including BOMs, routings, MRP, scheduling, and inventory
• Experience with job or project‑based processes including purchasing, sales, time, and expenses
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations including bins, picks, put‑aways, and movements
• Proven ability in process analysis, improvement, and documentation
• Experience with Business Central reporting tools such as Power BI or Jet Reports
• Comfortable training and supporting end users
• Working knowledge of AL development or strong desire to deepen technical skills
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is an advantage
