System Engineer; Project Coordinator

A Japanese IT company engaged in a wide range of technology services—including system development, software solutions, and website production—is seeking a System Engineer with project management responsibilities to join its growing team.

The company provides end-to-end services covering requirements definition, system design, development, testing, delivery, and post-implementation support. In this role, you will be involved in managing both client-facing system development projects and in-house system initiatives, working closely with internal engineers, stakeholders, and clients.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands‑on with systems while also coordinating projects, improving business processes, and supporting clients throughout the full system lifecycle. This role is open to candidates with varying levels of experience, and motivated candidates with a strong interest in system development and project management are welcome to apply, even if they do not have prior professional experience!

• Manage and coordinate system development projects from requirements definition through development, testing, delivery, and maintenance
• Act as a bridge between clients and internal development teams, ensuring requirements and expectations are clearly communicated
• Oversee project schedules, scope, and deliverables, and ensure projects are completed on time
• Perform system testing and quality checks to ensure a stable and reliable system delivery
• Support implementation, operation, and maintenance of business and core systems
• Prepare documentation and explain system functionality and progress to clients in a clear, non‑technical manner

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proficiency in Japanese / English is required
• Experience or strong interest in system development and project management
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
• Organized, proactive, and detail‑oriented with a problem‑solving mindset

• Competitive salary based on experience
  $40,000 - $60,000/annualy
