Technology Lead – JAVA​/J2EE​/UI

We have a job opportunity for a Technology Lead – JAVA/J2EE/UI. The role is full-time and permanent, located in Torrance, CA, and moving to Plano, TX in June 2017.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Alternatively, we will consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of IT experience and strong in Java – Application and Web services.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent in Java/J2EE, Web services, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA, JSP.
• Solid understanding of UI frameworks like Angular JS, JQuery, etc.
• Familiarity with agile process and methodologies, change management process, estimation methodologies, and process.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and hands-on working knowledge in Oracle, etc.
• Solid working knowledge of application servers like JBoss, Weblogic.
• Working knowledge of Unix commands and Shell scripts.
• Experience with testing tools like Selenium, Rational Performance Tester.
• Flexibility to work in an onsite/offshore model.
• Problem analysis, troubleshooting, resolution, and closure of critical issues in a timely manner.
• Experience in providing Production support – Incident management, Defect Tracking, etc.
• Proven ability to adapt your message to the technical level of the audience.
• Ability to apply technology, new features, functionality, and concepts in solving problems and implementing solutions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in application design and architecture using Java frameworks.
• Experience in Agile software development methodology.
