Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Start Date: Targeting 03/16/2026

The Patient Care Connect Coordinator supports high-volume patient scheduling and care coordination within the Orthopedics specialty. This role is highly patient-facing and serves as a key liaison between patients, providers, and clinic teams to ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive care experience.

This is a fast-paced, onsite clinic role ideal for someone with healthcare scheduling experience who enjoys helping patients navigate their care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule high-volume appointments for Orthopedics and related services
  • Register new and returning patients accurately in the EMR system
  • Collect and verify patient demographics, insurance, and referral documentation
  • Assist with eligibility checks and authorization coordination
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and caregivers
  • Guide patients through the organizations care process and clinic workflows
  • Answer questions related to appointments, procedures, and visit logistics
  • Assist patients with using the online patient portal
  • Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and internal departments
  • Address patient concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
  • Work closely with providers, front office staff, and operations teams
  • Assist with clinic coverage during staff absences as needed
  • Maintain clear communication with leadership and colleagues
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
  • 1–2+ years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, or medical office experience
  • High-volume scheduling or call center background
  • Strong customer service and patient communication skills
  • Experience using EMR/EHR systems
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced clinic environment
