Overview
Under direct supervision provides supplies, IV solutions, and equipment to all areas of the medical center and medical center sites as needed.
Core Competencies- Fills written/verbal request for supplies, IV solutions and equipment.
- Maintains and delivers all surgical case carts as required.
- Assembles, exchanges and provides special procedure trays as requested (eg, Swan-Ganz trays, pacemaker trays, isolation carts and latex free boxes).
- Inventories, restocks and exchanges crash carts Documents the process according to procedure.
- Assists in maintaining supplies in adequate amounts on the store room shelves, rotates stock and cleans shelving.
- Understands role in maintaining medication security to authorized personnel only.
- Utilizes the proper methods when processing paperwork to insure correct charges and accountability.
- Assists in the training and orientation of new personnel as required.
- Communicates any special requests or occurrences to the oncoming shift.
- Inventories and restocks assigned supply carts with required supplies and IV solutions.
Compensation Range
$24.00 - $28.22 / Hour
