Senior Manager of Sterile Processing
LOCATION:
Torrance, California
SALARY: $104,000 to $164,000
INDUSTRY:

- Must have Bachelor's Degree in Business or a Healthcare related field. Proof this degree will be required to start in the position.
- Must have a current Certification in Sterile Processing. One of the listed options is required and you will need to provide documentation.
- Minimum 7 years experience working directly in the field of Sterile Processing
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Supervisor or Manager of a hospital Sterile Processing Department
- Minimum 3 years experience overseeing staff and budget management
- Senior Manager of Sterile Processing responsible for the oversight of the Sterile Processing departments at 2 hospital campuses (Torrance and San Pedro)
- This role will be responsible for overseeing Torrance and San Pedro Sterile Processing Departments and have strong working relationships with Perioperative and Interventional leadership, clinical and support staff, and physicians throughout the South Bay.
- This role will work collaboratively with Executive Director Perioperative Services to define, manage, and closely monitor the strategic plan for Sterile Processing.
- Develops, implements, and manages operational budgets for departments.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare related field.
- Upon hire –
ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: - National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.
- National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
- National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.
- National Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
- 3 years Supervisory experience, including training and staff development.
- 5 years' Budget with management and analysis.
- 7 years' Work experience in the field of Sterile Processing
