If yes, then as a Health Information/Medical Records Director you will:

As our Health Information/Medical Records Director you will have responsibility for the initiation, maintenance and filing of resident records in the facility and report to the administrator.

Must have:
  • 2-4 years’ previous experience in medical records
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Supervisory skills to delegate, resolve conflict and respect diversity
  • Must have knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to understand and follow applicable regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Knowledgeable or nursing/medical practices and procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions and accept feedback
Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of ICD coding
  • Supervisory experience
  • Willingness to work beyond working hours, weekends, and holidays when necessary
  • Experience with Point Click Care
