We are a fast-growing apparel manufacturing company seeking an experienced Senior Financial Controller to lead our financial operations, strengthen internal controls, and partner closely with production, sourcing, and executive leadership. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high volume, deadline driven environment and understands the financial complexities of apparel manufacturing in the U.S.

• Full ownership of accounting operations: AP, AR, GL, payroll, and financial reporting
• Manage monthend and yearend close, including consolidations and audit preparation
• Oversee cost accounting for raw materials, trims, labor, overhead, and finished goods
• Budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and variance analysis
• Financial modeling to support pricing, production planning, and margin optimization
• Compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and multistate regulatory requirements
• Cross functional partnership with production, sourcing, logistics, and operations
• Support external audits
• Continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in apparel or manufacturing accounting
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and production workflows
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Net Suite, SAP, Quick Books Enterprise, Blue Cherry, etc.)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data organization)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
  
  Proven leadership experience and ability to manage a small accounting team
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with cross functional partners
• Must be able to work in-office full-time

• Experience with import/export costing and landed cost
• Multientity or multistate experience
• Experience supporting external audits
• Experience in factoring (invoice factoring, purchase order financing, etc.)
