Financial Analyst; FP&A

Overview

Utilize your superior analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles to provide business intelligence on key drivers and financial performance of assigned Business Units on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Your outstanding judgment will help ensure accurate financial reporting and guide management in making informed decisions.

Job Title:
Financial Analyst (FP&A)

• Conduct financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting for assigned Business Units.
• Prepare and review budget versus actual comparisons to support business unit performance.
• Utilize preferred accounting standards to ensure accurate financial information and advise management on future activities impacting profitability and financial objectives.
• Prepare and review month-end close activities, including the analysis of complex financial information to create and review journal entries impacting the financial condition.
• Communicate key drivers of financial performance and provide forward-looking guidance on financial trends to the team.
• Oversee financial activities for multiple areas to ensure consistency.
• Upload budget data to SAP (BPC module) for responsible business unit(s) and ensure budget accuracy.

• Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Strong skills in Excel and experience with SAP.
• Experience in month-end close activities and journal entries.
• Ability to reconcile financial data and ensure accuracy.

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance.
• Background in accounting standards is preferred.

This role involves working four days in the office with one day remote. Overtime may be required as needed. The position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for networking and potential for extension within a $130+ billion organization.

This is a Contract position based out of Torrance, CA.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
