We are looking for a proactive business partner to support key strategic areas such as Information Technology, Research & Development, and Finance. The successful candidate will provide financial guidance for funding decisions, project tracking, variance analysis, process improvement, and risk identification.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To- Partner with VPs of key departments (R&D, IT, HR, Finance, and others).
- Provide financial leadership for funding requirements, quantitative analysis, project management, and tracking of strategic initiatives.
- Lead the monthly close process, expense forecasting, and budgeting for relevant departments.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects to solve business problems and improve profitability.
- Maintain accounting principles and controls, and support SOX and internal audit.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics with 9+ years experience OR Master’s Degree with 7+ years OR Doctoral Degree with 4+ years.
- Experience managing large data sets, data mining, mapping, and creating reports.
- Initiative to partner with functions to resolve issues and improve systems.
- Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to explain financial data to finance and non‑finance audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, One Stream/HFM or other ERP tools, PowerPoint.
- MBA and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (active or inactive).
Location:
Torrance, CA – this is an on‑site role.
Salary Range: $124,500 – $160,000 annually, with bonus/incentive potential.
