Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the full lifecycle development of complex mechanical products. This role is responsible for design, analysis, documentation, factory integration, and on-site installation. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in structural analysis and machine design, along with the ability to lead projects and collaborate across teams.

• Own projects from concept through installation, including design, analysis, documentation, and system integration.
• Perform structural, static, dynamic, and thermal analysis with appropriate safety margins.
• Design machine elements including bearings, gearboxes, encoders, servomotors, gears, and fasteners.
• Develop weldment designs in accordance with industry standards (AWS D1.1/D1.2 or equivalent).
• Apply GD&T principles (ANSI Y14.5) and generate detailed engineering drawings.
• Conduct and interpret FEA (stress, buckling, modal analysis).
• Optimize designs for cost-effective manufacturing and precision positioning systems.
• Support machine assembly and on-site installation (approx. 30% domestic and international travel).
• Collaborate cross-functionally and engage with customers as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• 5+ years of relevant mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (Solid Works preferred).
• Strong foundation in statics, strength of materials, and machine design fundamentals.
• Experience with closed-loop servo system optimization.
• Familiarity with precision machining and welding practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and access export-controlled information.

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in complex system development and turnkey product design.
• Hands-on machine assembly and on-site installation experience.
• Familiarity with product safety standards (e.g., CE).
