The Facilities Manager is responsible for comprehensive management of our multi‑building headquarters. The position will drive infrastructure development projects, identify gaps in our current infrastructure, and build a roadmap to upgrade to modern standards. This role is key to our sustainability journey, adopting green initiatives while meeting company objectives for security, uptime and associate engagement.

This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing Science and Technology and is part of the Facilities and Engineering Team located in Torrance, CA. It is an on‑site role.

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of all facilities, including labs, clean rooms, and office spaces.
• Source, negotiate, and manage contracts for facility services, equipment, and utilities.
• Plan and execute facility upgrades, expansions, and relocations to support business growth.
• Develop and manage facility budgets, including capital projects and operational expenses.
• Develop and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce energy consumption, water usage, and waste.

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience managing facilities in a life sciences, pharmaceutical, or biotech environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP or GxP compliance and EHS standards.
• Proven ability to manage complex systems (HVAC, clean rooms, utilities) and facility projects.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to climb ladders or use lifting equipment to access infrastructure equipment on roofs.

• Designing and leading projects related to the construction of chemical laboratories.
• Negotiating and managing vendor contracts related to facilities maintenance.

The salary range for this role is $124,000 - $150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
