Position Summary
Sonic Industries, Inc. is a leading aerospace fastener company. We have an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer Trainee who will utilize a wide range of knowledge and skills to participate in Quality Engineering and Continuous Improvement projects and programs.
Key Position Responsibilities- QE support of Prime Customers for first articles and corrective action
- Reviewing contracts, specifications, purchase orders, and planning
- Planning and implementing quality initiatives throughout the organization
- Managing & tracking MRB & RMA’s
- Performing internal & external audits
- Participating in RCCA investigations as required
- Assist in supplier quality support and development
- Implement and manage QMS software
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Material, or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
- Be a self‑starter, motivated and resourceful, with strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing
- Maintain a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn
Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee is a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) or a Foreign Person for whom a license is obtained.
Quality RequirementEmployees will participate as required in understanding, implementing, and maintaining the Company Quality Policy in accordance with AS‑9100D and/or ISO‑9001:2015 requirements.
