You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Torrance, CA or Tempe, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.

• Develop and refine ECS performance models and simulations for complex air and vapor cycle systems.
• Conduct thermodynamic heat transfer and fluid mechanics analyses to optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build system models, libraries and design documentation.
• Support new business proposals and translate complex data into clear technical insights.
• Analyze test results, prepare reports and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Aerospace Engineering
• 6 years of experience in mechanical, chemical or related engineering fields with emphasis on modeling and analysis
• Strong understanding of thermodynamic cycles, heat transfer and fluid mechanics
• Proficiency in C (legacy and modern);
  Fortran experience a plus
• Strong coding and analytical background with a creative approach to problem‑solving
• Familiarity with Visual Studio, modeling tools and software integration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Masters degree in Mechanical, Chemical or related Engineering discipline (research experience a plus)
• Experience with Agile development, Git and GUI development (Win Forms/.NET)
