Poly Peptide is looking for a Capex Project Manager to lead high-impact facility and equipment projects that keep our GMP manufacturing site running safely, reliably, and efficiently. If you excel at project management, enjoy solving technical challenges, and thrive in a regulated biotech environment, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
* Lead capital projects, equipment installations, utility upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
* Ensure all engineering work meets cGMP, safety, and environmental standards
* Troubleshoot equipment and facility issues in support of Manufacturing and Quality teams
* Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, and manage vendors
* Prepare engineering documentation (specs, drawings, change controls, C&Q protocols)
* Support audits, validation activities, and equipment lifecycle management
* Identify opportunities for performance, safety, and energy-efficiency improvements
What You Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
* 3-7 years of engineering experience in pharma, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing
* Experience with utilities (HVAC, water, gases), process equipment, and capital project execution
* Knowledge of cGMP and equipment qualification
* Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Salary: $145K-$160K
