We’re partnering with a well-established manufacturing company seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead all site-level EH&S programs. This facility is a 500‑employee, non‑union operation producing high‑precision machined components in both short‑ and long‑run machining environments. The business is stable, R&D‑driven, and backed by a strong leadership team.

• Lead and strengthen all site EH&S programs, policies, and compliance systems.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local safety/environmental regulations (California experience a plus).
• Conduct audits, manage corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Will provide guidance to operations leaders and collaborate closely with engineering, R&D, and machining teams.
• Handle sensitive safety issues with sound judgment and professionalism.
• Champion employee training, incident prevention, and a proactive safety culture.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of EH&S leadership experience in a machining‑focused manufacturing environment.
• Strong background developing and implementing EH&S programs and policies.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate compliance, investigations, reporting, and workforce engagement.
• Confident working with seasoned hourly teams and serving as part of a plant leadership group.
