Job OverviewBarden Electric Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our growing Project Management team. This position is ideal for a field‑experienced electrical professional looking to transition into the office and grow into a Project Manager role. As a Project Engineer, you’ll support scheduling, planning, forecasting, coordination, and project execution—ensuring all technical aspects align with quality and compliance standards from concept through completion.

Responsibilities- Support Project Managers and field teams in scheduling, planning, and resource coordination.
- Monitor project progress and ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and performance.
- Assist in field supervision and jobsite coordination.
- Uphold safety standards and BEI safety procedures at all times.
- Resolve project conflicts and maintain productive communication between office and field.
- Demonstrate strong relationship‑building skills to foster trust, collaboration, and effective communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate project logs and documentation.
- Participate in quality assurance and code compliance reviews.
- Interact daily with project supervisors and field staff to understand and fulfill project needs.
- 1+ years of experience in electrical construction or project coordination.
- High school diploma or GED required;
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred. - Prior field experience is strongly valued—especially for those transitioning into project management.
- Understanding of electrical systems and construction processes; design‑build experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with estimating tools such as EBM, Accubid, or similar software.
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
- Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
