Job Title: Aircraft Group Senior Supplier Lead
Reporting To: Mgr., Supply Chain
Work Schedule: Hybrid – Torrance, CA

• Develop and manage effective supplier relationships to achieve business requirements.
• Surveil and monitor assigned suppliers; evaluate performance, identify and mitigate risks.
• Provide effective purchase order management to ensure current and verified delivery information is reflected in standard systems.
• Ensure timely closure of root cause and corrective actions.
• Expedite supplier deliveries when necessary to meet site operational requirements.
• Lead problem‑solving activities to resolve issues affecting supplier relationships and supply chain performance.
• Support and potentially lead supplier performance recovery and improvement activities.
• Provide regional support for supplier selection, supplier development, and NPI.
• Use regional and supplier knowledge to provide input to supply chain planning.
• Identify and pursue quality, cost, delivery, and lead time improvements.
• The scope of responsibility in terms of parts/suppliers or level of complexity is higher relative to the Supplier Lead responsibilities.

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred in engineering, supply chain, or business).
• Greater than 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or engineering (preferably aerospace).
• Desired certifications in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Program Management, and advanced education such as a master’s degree in business or engineering.
• Engineering or technical background with project/program management experience.
• Good negotiating skills and knowledge of procurement and contractual law.
• Strong written, verbal, and formal presentation communication skills; ability to influence Operations Group staff at all management levels and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Salary Range:
Torrance, CA $–$ annually. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region‑specific benefits.
