Quality Engineer Trainee

Position Summary

Sonic Industries, Inc. is a leading aerospace fastener company. We have an immediate opening for a Quality Engineer Trainee
. The Trainee utilizes a wide range of knowledge and skills to participate in Quality Engineering and Continuous Improvement projects and programs.

• QE support of Prime Customers for first articles and corrective action;
• Reviewing contracts, specifications, purchase orders, and planning;
• Planning and implementing quality initiatives throughout the organization;
• Managing & tracking MRB & RMA’s;
• Performing internal & external audits;
• Participating in RCCA investigations as required;
• Assist in supplier quality support and development;
• Implement and Manage QMS software;

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Material or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Be a self-starter, motivated and resourceful; detail oriented and possess a good work ethic.
• Be able to communicate with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
• Have a positive attitude and a desire to learn.

Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) or a Foreign Person for whom a license is obtained.

Employees will participate as required in understanding, implementing and maintaining the Company Quality Policy in accordance with AS-9100D and/or ISO-9001:2015 requirements.
