Title:
Japanese Bilingual Call Center Customer Service Associate.
Location:
Torrance, CA. Salary: $23.51 / hour. Position:
Direct Hire.
- Direct-Hire;
Training starts August 25th, 2025. - Benefits:
Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K, Flexible Spending, Sick Leave, Paid Holiday, Vacation Pay, Travel Benefits. - Hourly: $23.51 / hour;
Non-Exempt. - Training schedule: 5 weeks, Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm.
- After training: flexible shifts, 5 days/week (Mon-Sun 5:00am-4:00pm), including weekends and holidays.
- Japanese/English bilingual ability is a MUST.
- Offer highest level of customer service over the phone.
- Provide customers with information regarding flights, fares, destinations, special offers, and other travel products.
- Provide timely resolution to customer inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Use the in-house system to make new flight reservations or modify existing reservations.
- Accurately obtain documents and confirm customer's personal information.
- Proactively explore and anticipate customer's future needs.
- General administrative duties: preparing reports, filing, etc.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Bilingual language ability in English and Japanese (proficient speaking, reading, writing).
- Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Airline, travel, and related industry experience preferred.
- Customer service and call center experience is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks.
- Good phone manner and problem solver.
- Detail-oriented, organized, strong with numbers.
