The Administrative Assistant will assist with administrative duties for the SEWUP department. Provide clerical support and assistance to the department by managing the project calendars, contract management, invoicing and communicating with internal and external clients.

This is a hybrid position located in Torrance, CA.

How you'll make an impact
  • General administrative duties as assigned by OCIP Administrators.
  • Assist with the master calendar of all projects.
  • Assist with management of OCIP Projects/Contracts.
  • Prepare and submit Surplus Lines filings to internal contact for delivery to SLA.
  • Delivery of project invoices to clients.
  • Process flow of individual workers’ compensation policies and payroll as received.
  • Preparing meeting packets/Take meeting notes.
  • Maintain agendas and calendars.
  • Type memos, letters and other correspondence.
  • Assist with sending letters to contractors and subcontractors prior to start of work on the project.
  • Assist with compilation of monthly reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.
About You

Required:

High school diploma and 2 years related experience required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.

Preferred:
Data entry experience and strong verbal and written communication skills.

The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
