Temporary Senior Accountant – Torrance, CA

Pay Rate: Up to $40/hour

Type: Temporary (with potential for extension or hire, if applicable)

Location: On-site in Torrance, CA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Temporary Senior Accountant to support a well-established company in Torrance. The ideal candidate will have experience with fixed assets, accruals, bank reconciliations, and month-end close. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required. Japanese language skills are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain fixed assets and related schedules
• Prepare and post accruals and journal entries
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Perform accurate bank reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Support audits and provide financial documentation as needed
• Collaborate with other departments for financial reporting and analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Japanese language proficiency is a plus, but not required
