OverviewWe are looking for an EYFS Teacher at Upton St James, a wonderful and inclusive school in the Upton area of Torquay. Upton St James is based in a Victorian school building but hold modern, nurturing values and pride ourselves on our strong community links. Our Christian Ethos helps to create a warm, calm atmosphere, whilst priding ourselves on our high achievements.
The Academy is part of the St Christopher’s Trust - a family of 21 Church and Community Schools spanning three local authorities and providing a rich network of collaboration. The Trust will build a package of exceptional continuous professional development around the appointed teacher.
- Bring learning to life for our pupils in mixed age classes.
- Challenge each pupil, whatever their starting point, using strong pedagogical practice and philosophy.
- Hold subject leader responsibilities, with the subjects open for discussion at interview.
- Set high expectations and be proactive.
- Collaborate with others and develop teaching and leadership skills.
We seek an experienced EYFS Class Teacher. Experience and skill in developing the curriculum, raising standards and providing stimulating learning experiences are required.
