SEND Learning Support Assistant

Axcis Education are working closely to support an all-through specialist school in Torbay for pupils who have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). The school has almost 200 pupils and 20 classrooms covering EYFS to Key Stage 5.

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to start in January 2026 on a full‑time basis (8:45‑15:00). Pay ranges from £13.69–£15.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

• Experience of working with children or adults with Profound & Multiple Learning difficulties (PMLD).
• Bubbly, friendly and approachable characteristics.
• A resilient and robust attitude and calmness under stressful circumstances.
• A passion for supporting children with special educational and disability needs.

• Experience working with SEND pupils.
• Level 2 Qualification.
• Level 3 Qualification.
• Intimate care experience.

Pay is weekly – every Friday. The position is temporary unless stated otherwise.
