Support the delivery of Radiology services in Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust.

Assist the development of innovative ways to deliver services.

Support training activities for Radiology Trainees and Medical students.

There will be an opportunity to develop a subspecialty interest that complements the service.

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is one of the first vertically‑integrated health and care organisations in the country. This enables us to radically re‑think and re‑shape the way we deliver care, free from traditional organisational constraints. This post will offer an opportunity to be part of designing and delivering innovative services in Torbay and South Devon, including more integrated and streamlined care pathways for patients.

There is a well‑established Radiology Department, currently consisting of 23 substantive consultants. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the development of a dynamic Department within a forward‑looking secondary care Foundation Trust. This post will support Radiology in meeting the needs of the local population.

Torbay Hospital provides acute care for the local community and has several community hospitals, and is a hot‑spot for those who are considering living by the sea or within half an hour of Dartmoor National Park and an hour to Exmoor National Park. Meanwhile, Plymouth and Exeter are also both within a short drive to enjoy the culture, maritime history and shopping experiences.

Full Vacancy details can be found on the attached Job Description/Person Specification. Please refer to your suitability to the post in your supporting information from the role requirements or person specification.
