An exciting opportunity for a Research Administrator focusing on audits in the Research and Development Department based in the Horizon Centre at Torbay Hospital.

• Work with a variety of research professionals in a friendly, supportive team environment and assist with the audit of clinical trial data.
• Support the growth of our research portfolio by helping facilitate further growth as we take on more varied trials across more disease sites.
• Collaborate with multiple computer systems and ensure all relevant paperwork is correctly recorded in patient notes and research site files.
• Communicate between consultants, nurses, clinical teams, trial admin, support departments, trial sponsors and patients to ensure trial patient data is accurate and uploaded in a timely manner.
• Organise and prioritise administrative tasks, maintain effective working relationships, and maintain high flexibility and time management.

• Motivated, enthusiastic, and highly motivated with excellent organisational, prioritisation, administrative and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, flexibility, time management, IT and literacy skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships and undertake tasks on your own initiative.

The Research and Development Department supports the safe conduct of research in accordance with the Research Governance Framework and Good Clinical Practice guidelines, supporting a variety of clinical specialties and departments.
