Day-to-Day Supply Teacher | KS1 | Plymouth

Location: Plymouth and surrounding areas

Pay: £130 - £160 per day

Schedule: Flexible / Term Time Only

Start Date: Immediate

This is the perfect opportunity for teachers who want to stay in the classroom without the commitment of long-term planning, meetings, and data tracking. Simply show up, deliver high-quality lessons, and leave at the end of the school day.

    Walk in and teach! For standard daily cover, all planning and resources are provided by the school.

The Role
  • Arriving at schools ready to hit the ground running with Year 1 or Year 2 classes.

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons with energy and professionalism.

  • Following school-specific behaviour policies to maintain a positive learning environment.

  • Ensuring all marking for the day is completed before leaving.

  • Leaving a brief handover note for the returning class teacher.

What You'll Need
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential.

  • A strong understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum.

  • High levels of adaptability and a "can-do" attitude.

  • Excellent classroom management skills.

  • Reliable transport or ease of access to schools across Plymouth.
