We are working with a client located in Toronto in the Dufferin St & Lawrence Ave area . W area that is looking to hire a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join their busy team. This company is a leading wholesaler & distributor of Plumbing & Heating products, providing quality customer service and knowledge throughout the GTA.

• Receive, pick, pack, label, and ship products to customers.
• Memorize and keep track of product locations.
• Operate industrial-powered equipment ( forklift, pump trucks, etc ).
• Restock and replenish bins as necessary.
• Accurately prepare pallet loads and provide quality control of the products.
• Maintain the work area cleanliness, organization and safety of the warehouse.
• Check the goods for quality in the shipping & receiving areas.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies & procedures.
• Fill in other positions if needed.
• Complete all administrative tasks for the department.

• Able to lift packages up between 40 lbs to 50lbs.
• Able to lift/carry/move or arrange boxes while standing, stooping, or kneeling. The product can vary in size from pipes, toilets, bathtubs, etc.
• Ex cellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Great attitude and strong work ethic.
• Forklift experience & certificate to operate counterbalance and reach cert ificate an asset but not required . The company will train if needed.
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role.
