Coordinator, Regulatory and Standards - Dash

Job Summary

The Regulatory and Standards Coordinator – Dash 8 supports the development, implementation, and oversight of Inflight regulatory compliance and service standards for Porter’s Dash 8 operation. This role ensures that all procedures, manuals, and training materials align with Transport Canada requirements and company policy. Working closely with the Inflight Training, Safety, and Operations teams, the Coordinator helps maintain operational excellence, consistency, and compliance across the Dash 8 fleet.

• Monitor, review, and maintain all Inflight policies, procedures, and documentation related to the Dash 8 fleet.
• Support the development and revision of Inflight manuals (e.g., Flight Attendant Manual, Company Operations Manual) to ensure alignment with Transport Canada regulations and Porter standards.
• Conduct regular audits and spot checks to verify compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Assist in the investigation and follow-up of safety or service-related events, including documentation, analysis, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Training and Safety teams to ensure operational changes are reflected in crew training programs.
• Participate in regulatory reviews, inspections, and Transport Canada correspondence as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable aviation regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to cabin crew training.
• Support the implementation of service and procedural updates across the Dash 8 fleet, ensuring consistent crew understanding and execution.
• Maintain accurate records of regulatory communications, procedural updates, and compliance tracking.
• Provide administrative and analytical support for Inflight quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in aviation, safety, or compliance-related role;
  Inflight experience is an asset.
• Strong understanding of Transports Canada Civil Aviation Regulations (CARs) and airline operational standards.
• Fluency in English. Fluency in French is a preferred asset.
• Exceptional attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with document control or compliance management systems is an asset.
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems is considered an asset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
