• Design, build, and optimize machine learning pipelines for training and inference
• Work with large‑scale datasets to improve data quality, feature engineering, and model performance
• Experiment with LLMs (Large Language Models), NLP, and other applied AI techniques
• Contribute to deploying AI services in production with monitoring, scalability, and reliability in mind
• Support model evaluation, fine‑tuning, and documentation for AI‑powered systems

• Compliance with Information Security Policies
• Compliance with League’s secure coding practice
• Responsibility and accountability for executing League's policies and procedures
• Notification of HR, Legal, Compliance & Security of any incidents, breaches or policy violations

• Languages & Frameworks:
  Python, SQL, PyTorch, Tensor Flow, scikit‑learn
• Cloud & Infrastructure: GCP (Vertex AI, Big Query), Airflow, Terraform
• Monitoring & Visualization:
  Looker, Weights & Biases, MLflow

• Exposure to AI, data science, or machine learning projects
• Hands‑on software development experience (Python preferred)
• Familiarity with cloud‑based data or ML platforms
• Previous engineering co‑op or internship experience

This is an in‑office position at our Toronto HQ from Monday to Thursday and Fridays are work‑from‑home. We really value fostering in‑person connection and collaboration which is especially advantageous as a learning opportunity for a Co‑op student.

$25—$30 CAD
