Job Description # Markets Java Developer
** Location**:
Toronto – Hybrid 3 days a week
* Proven experience in software development, ideally within financial services or global markets.
* Strong proficiency in
** Java,
** Spring Boot,
** and React**
* ** Experience in C#, Python, SQL, or System Integration.
*** Solid understanding of Unix/Linux commands and scripting.
* Hands‑on experience with relational databases (Sybase, SQL Server).
* Familiarity with SDLC toolsets:
** Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira**.
* Experience using modern IDEs such as
** Intelli

J, Eclipse, VS Code, or PyCharm**.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills with strong communication and collaboration capabilities.
* Experience working in agile, multi‑team environments.
* Knowledge of Generative AI and machine learning frameworks, products, or tools for agentic or automation‑driven solutions is an asset.
* Ability to independently ramp up on new systems, platforms, and technologies with limited training
