Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Android Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join the Mobile Development & Application Team responsible for building and maintaining mobile banking solutions. This role focuses on delivering new features for account services and credit cards within the Android mobile banking platform. You will design and deliver scalable, secure solutions while providing technical leadership within an agile, cross-functional environment. The team operates in a dynamic, collaborative setting focused on user experience, on-time delivery, and continuous professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as prime contact with technical experts, project teams, business stakeholders, and vendors

Work independently as a senior or lead developer and coach/guide team members

Provide overall accountability for solution design and deliverables

Partner with architects and managers to provide effort estimates

Consult on development of System Requirements Specifications (SRS)

Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions

Lead creation of end-to-end solution design and System Design Specifications (SDS)

Ensure development aligns with intended design and technical standards

Enforce SDLC and project management methodology compliance

Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, reusability, and maintainability

Deliver solutions on time, within budget, and aligned to corporate quality and security standards

Stay current with leading-edge technologies and industry trends

Provide technical support for escalated incidents and outages

Contribute to Application Deployment Plans

Manage workload across concurrent projects while meeting timelines

Support a positive, collaborative team environment

Participate in knowledge transfer across teams and business units

Required Experience:

+ years experience in mobile development

+ years experience with Kotlin on the Android platform

Experience leading development initiatives and mentoring others

Experience working in agile environments

Experience:

Banking or financial services industry experience

Experience working with distributed onshore and offshore teams

Experience mentoring technical team members
