Java Kotlin Developer

Position Title:

Java Backend Kotlin Developer

Location:

Toronto, ON - Day 1 onsite

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain Kotlin-based mobile and web applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new features

Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise

Create and maintain technical documentation Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives

Requirements

7+ years of hands-on experience in IT industry with good experience in JAVA/J2EE and restful web-services development.

Experience with injection frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot is a must.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

4+ years of professional experience in Kotlin development

Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with a good understanding of its basic syntax and language features

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills

Experience with mobile and web application development

Experience with cloud-based technologies and services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
